His Backstory: Kyle grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and his post-secondary path took him to Huntington University in Indiana on a soccer scholarship. Originally planning on getting a business degree, he took an elective painting course at the end of his freshman year and fell in love with all things art. So he decided to change majors from business to art! By his senior year, Kyle was selected for "The Artist of the Year" award-- the most coveted art award at the University. He was published in several national photography magazines. After college, he pursued his art as a graphic designer and photographer for many years before starting his own business in financial services (quite a different field!). He paused his art career while building his financial businesses, and only in recent years returned to his photography and art passion by founding "Focal Point Fine Art" (FPFA). Kyle says about his art: "I love using different mediums in my art--but photography is my first love. I also enjoy oil painting, watercolor painting, pencil and ink sketching, wood printing, and using digital mediums (digitally painting on my art tablet) as well, and sometimes combining a mixture of these to create the final piece". The FPFA website exhibits the fine art photography and paintings that Kyle creates. Art lovers, interior designers, and those who just want to "beautify" their home or office, have come to trust FPFA as their go-to place for art.
